It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard D. Olender of Holyoke, Massachusetts, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Olender and Irene Olender of Holyoke. He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Speckels of Huntington, Nina Olender of Holyoke and Edward Olender Jr. of Longmeadow; and his nieces and nephews, Paul Speckels, Stephen Speckels, Christopher Speckels, Sophia Bradley, Nicholas Olender and Olivia Olender.
