He was predeceased by: his wife Marie; and his son Sam. He is survived by: his children, Paula (Steve Akalis), Katie (Brian Bilek) and TJ; his grandchildren, Carley, Caelah, Dylan, Shane, Colin and Liam; his great grandchildren, Eoghan, Beckham and Caden; his siblings, Nancy Boardway and Gene Boardway; and his close friend Eddie LaPlante.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A procession will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (1945 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (2140 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040).
