With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert E. Lafrenaye of Holyoke, Massachusetts, born in Chicopee, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Lafrenaye and Rosia Lafrenaye (Roy); his wife Louise Lafrenaye (Messier); his stepchildren, Annette Warren-Cooley, Arthur Beauvais, Jr. and Joseph Beauvais; and his siblings, Harvey Lafrenaye, Annette Kane, Paul Lafrenaye, Aline Guertin and Rita Robillard.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Pauline M. Dutilly of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Peter Warren, Jr., John Warren, Marcel Beauvais, Sarah Alexander, Benjamin Beauvais and Jeremiah Beauvais; and his niece Elizabeth A. Thomas of Chicopee. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
