He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jack Vachon, Loretta Burke and Eileen O'Connor; and his parents, Adelard A. Vachon and Julia Loretta Vachon (O'Donnell).
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Vachon (Barthelette) of South Hadley; his children, Annmarie Condon (James) of Easton, William Vachon of Springfield and Christine Girard (Gary) of West Brookfield; his grandchildren, Kathleen (Major Ryan Taylor), Julia Condon, Jennifer Condon and Evan Condon; and his great grandchild Mackenzie Taylor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
