He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Layzer and Helen Layzer (Skypeck). He is survived by: his wife Judith (Washburn); his children, Jeffrey Layzer (Kymberleigh Bartlett-Rhayne) of South Hadley, Katherine Layzer (John Harrrington) of Belchertown and Sarah Layzer (Patrick McNulty) of West Springfield; his grandchildren, Sarah Nicole, Abigail, Ethan, Matthew, Ruby, Hazel and Cleo; his great grandchild Samuel; his brother James Layzer (Nancy Layzer) of Tennessee; and his siblings-in-law, Charlene Patton and Daniel Washburn (Diane). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
