It is with great sadness that we announce the death of SSJ Claudette Samson Sr. (Holyoke, Massachusetts), born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Samson and Ida Samson (Allaire); and her siblings, Maurice (Cecile), Lionel, Alfred (Margaret), Edward Samson, Cecile Douglas (Richard), Dora Sherman (Kenneth), Rita Meredios (John), Robia Marshall (William) and Flora Bridges (George).

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Cecile Samson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph, 577 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
