He was predeceased by : his father Robert G. Murphy. He is survived by : his mother Betty Murphy (Brown) of Holliston; his spouse Dana Murphy (Toppa) of Hopedale; his sons, Ryan Murphy (Andi) of Brewster, Brennan Murphy of Brighton and Michael Murphy of Hopedale; and his siblings, Matt Murphy (Jessica) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Carole Kallas (Matt) of North Kingstown, RI, Kevin Murphy (Tracy) of Hopkinton, Meghann Remick (Frank) of Lexington, Nancy Carroll (Eric) of Norton and Toppa.

A funeral mass will be held privately due to the current covid-19 restrictions.
