We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2023, at the age of 58, Ian D. MacDonald III of Hopedale, Massachusetts, born in New Haven, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Ellen Gladys MacDonald (Manik); his children, Thomas MacDonald (Amanda) of Milford and Lisa Sousa (Steven) of Milford; his grandchildren, Thomas "Junior" MacDonald, Gabriella Sousa, Cecilia Sousa and Liliana Sousa; his parents, Ian MacDonald and Andrea MacDonald (Bridges) of Hopedale; his brothers, Todd MacDonald (Stephanie) of Brookfield and Jason MacDonald (Cheryl) of Hopedale; his godmother Beverly McClure (Thomas) of New Haven, CT; and also Maureen MacDonald of Millville. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Ian's family asks that you honor his memory by performing an act of kindness in his name, as he would have done.
