He was predeceased by: his former wife Elinor Smith (Wood); his siblings, Eleanor, William, Bernice, Gladys and Nancy; and his parents, Warren Smith and Esther Smith (Andrew).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Smith (Olson); his children, Jeffrey A. Smith (Betty) of Uxbridge, William B. Smith of Norwood, Thomas W. Smith (Eileen) of Whitinsville and Christine Smith Kleya of Linwood; and his stepchildren, Brian Hare of Raymore, Missouri, Laurie Odom (Chris) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Melanie Hare of Wichita, Kansas.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Though the funeral service will be private, the family invites those who wish to honor Lewis' memory to consider donating in his name to: DAV Dept. of MA Service Fund Inc. 3 Victory Lane.
