He was predeceased by : his wife Rosalyn A. Arsenault Carney (DeLoia); his parents, Bernard J. Carney and Josephine Carney (Ostroski); and his sister Kathleen Carney. He is survived by : his sisters, Sheila Mancuso, Colleen Iacovelli (Michael) and Susan Krikorian (Charles); and his nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Mancuso, Nina, Kailin, Iris and Jonathan.
