We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2024, at the age of 83, Henry Peter Allessio of Hopkinton, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Henry Peter Allessio to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Paul and Adele Margaret Allessio (Pozzetta). He is survived by: his wife Judith Allessio (Pezzini); his children, Darlene Allessio Mulcahy (late Daniel) of Summerville, SC, Suzanne Allessio Senesac (Steven) of Colchester, VT and Henry Paul Allessio of Hopkinton; his sister Claire Velyvis (Allessio) of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Shannon, Keira, Megan Mulcahy, Joshua Allessio, David and Michael Mansfield-Allessio of Colchester, VT.; and his sibling's children, John, Peter Velyvis and Kristen Velyvis-Zinnen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hopkinton Senior Center Veterans Breakfast, c/o Amy Beck, or to a non-profit Veterans organization of one's choice.

“Judy, Paul, and Family: Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Though we competed on opposing teams in high school, Hank and I became friends later in life. I enjoyed often traveling to the monthly veterans breakfasts at the Senior Center and socializing at your home afterwards. Participating in Hank’s annual pilgrimages to historic Wahconah Park also produced great memories. Through God’s grace, may your own memories provide solace in this time of sorrow. RIP Cpt Hank!”
