We announce the death of Marilyn Theresa Carlson of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 88. Marilyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred F. Gallese and Evelyn T. Gallese (Peters); and her brothers, Roger Gallese and Alfred "Butch" Gallese Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Roger Carlson; her daughter Miranda Kate Carlson-Senecal of Springfield, MO; her grandchildren, Davin Evans and Ariana Senecal; and her sisters, Diane Gallese Parsons of Adams, MA and Leslie Gallese Schmidt of Greenfield, MA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home For Funerals, Central Chapel (74 Marshall St, North Adams, MA 01247).
