Michael Vulcano wrote a sympathy message

“I had the honor of being on the coaching staff when Matt was a player, but also coached with him at Assumption College after he graduated . Not only did Matt excel on the football field, weight room, he also excelled in the classroom. One of Matt’s greatest attributes was his ability to lead by example. Matt was larger than life and when you met him and got to know him he was your friend forever. I will miss are talks we had every time we butt dialed each other. God Bless Mike Vulcano”
