With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vincent J. Gately of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Vincent departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Vincent may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Vincent leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Gately (Clark) and George Gately. He is survived by: his wife Janis Gately (Zappala) of Hopkinton; his children, Michael Gately of London and Karen Belniak (Patrick) of Hopkinton; his grandson Thomas Belniak; his siblings, John Gately of Norwood and Susan Gately; and his brother-in-law Stephen Wysocki of West Roxbury. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
