He was predeceased by: his former wife Evelyn Metcalf (Yeo); his parents, James Metcalf and Ida Mae Metcalf (Gilmore); his daughter Laura Moran (Paul Moran); his siblings, Glen, Lawrence, Leslie, Calvin, Martin, Coy Metcalf, Opal Erwin and Ruth Yarbrough; and his granddaughter Tammy Gildea (Shaun Carr-Gildea).
He is survived by: his wife Helga E. Metcalf (Schulze); his children, Steven Metcalf of Clinton, MA, Diane Henning of Modesto California and Lawrence Metcalf (Francine Marlowe) of Marlborough, MA; his siblings, Jimmie Metcalf (LaVaughn Brooks) and Ruby Mae Sloan (Neil Sloan); his stepsons, Edwin Bradley of Palmer, MA and Ronald Bradley of Marlborough, MA; his grandchildren, Jennifer Brammer (Charles Brammer) and Steven Metcalf Jr. (Sarah Beauregard); and his great grandchildren, Dillan Carr-Gildea, Emma Brammer and Owen Brammer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
