She was predeceased by: her husband Robert F. Caty; her parents, Thomas F. Whalen and Catherine E. Whalen (White); and her sister-in-law Elaine Whalen. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Michael G. Caty (Diana) of Guilford, CT, David C. Caty (Michelle) of Northborough, MA, Mary E. Bonner (Francis) of Boylston, MA, Thomas C. Caty (Robin) of Hudson, MA, Deborah A. Kapopoulos (Ernest) of Charlotte, NC, Jeffrey A. Caty (Mary) of Norwalk, CT and Robert D. Caty (Suzanne) of Cornelius, NC.; and her brother Kevin E. Whalen of Somerville, MA.. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
