Sylvia V. Haywood Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia V. Haywood of Hudson, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Warren Collins, Ruth Collins and Lynette Collins; and her parents, Fitz G. Collins and Esther F. Collins (Archer).
She is survived by: her husband Kenrick Allan Haywood; her sons, Craig A. Haywood (Jessica) of Dublin, OH, Kenrick F. Haywood (Amanda) of Marlborough and Karl A. Haywood (Kate) of Marlborough; her grandchildren, Tevin, Kaden, Aliyana, Jason, Christian, Braelyn and Amiyah; her great grandchildren, Kyree and Elijah; and her sisters, Uldine Collins of Yonkers, NY, Marva Collins of Worcester and Joyce Julien of Worcester. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Life Church (839 Ashby State Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation (diabetes.org) or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (stjudes.org).
