He was predeceased by: his parents, George Upton Sr. and Marie "Bergeron" Upton. He is survived by: his wife Genevieve L. "Merkel" Upton; his siblings, Theresa Jaswell (Gary) of Narragansett, RI, George Upton Jr. (Barbara) of Andover, CT and Daniel Upton (Antonetta) of Smithfield, RI; and his cousin Rita Caraccia (Dennis) of Lincoln, RI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
