He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Katibian (Floren). He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Katibian (Thomas Crook), Laurie (Robert Buxbaum), Sandra Meegan of Abington, MA. and Susan (Thomas Hickie); his grandchildren, Kelly Crook, Daniel, Michael Buxbaum, Jill, Jessica, John Meegan, Lauren, Cassandra, Tommy and Caroline Hickie; his brother Charles Katibian; and his sister-in-law Susan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Quealy Funeral Home (116 Adams St, Abington, MA 02351).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9188.
