She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Nichols and Martha Nichols; her sons, Christopher and Peter Sullivan; her close friend Ester Knight; and her cousin Joan Seville.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise; her son-in-law Mark Brown; her grandchildren, Joshua Sullivan (Kylie Sullivan), Peyton Brown (Hayden Richardson), Troy Brown and Kelly Pontillo (Tobin Pontillo); and her siblings, Barbara Maloney and Warren Nichols.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel (21 Pond St, Hingham, MA 02043). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Nicholas United Methodist Church (128 Spring St, Hull, MA 02045).
