He was predeceased by : his parents, Alice M. McRae, (Behenna) and James A. McRae, Sr.; and his sisters, Lorraine L. McRae and Patricia A. "Tricia" McRae. He is survived by : his brothers, James A. McRae, Jr. (late Suzanne) of Westwood, Kenneth E. McRae (Linda) of Norwood and Phillip D. McRae (Kimberly) of Lynnfield; and his nieces and nephews, Keri, Shane and Ashley.
