He was predeceased by : his wife Joan I. O'Connor (Bentley). He is survived by : his children, John J. O'Connor, Jr. (Karen) of Michigan, Kathleen M. Wallace of Centerville, Timothy M. O'Connor (Monica) of North Carolina, Ellen and Corey of Centerville; his grandchildren, Sarah, Meaghan and Sean; and his sister Margaret Pilkington Riley. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
