He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Bearse and Janette Bearse. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Bearse; his granddaughters, Sophia Leonard, Victoria Leonard, Emily Bearse and Abigail Bearse; and his siblings, Penny Barnes, Julie Hayden, Jimmy, Richard, Billy and Rosie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in their memory to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
