Juanita Gelabert Cintrón Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Gelabert Cintrón of Hyde Park, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Leyda, Andita and Bernardo Gelabert Cintrón. She is survived by: her children, Dean Lebrón (Noemi Rodriguez) of Florida, Jill Melèndez (Edwin Melèndez) of Roxbury and Dagmar Mauro (Emilio E. Mauro Jr.) of Canton; her grandchildren, Jasmin Irizarry-Lebrón (Michael Steven Andrade II) of Hyde Park, Jovany Isidoro Melèndez (Crisonis Melèndez) of Rhode Island and Dean Anthony Lebrón; her great grandchildren, Arya Andrade-Irizarry, Michael Steven Andrade III, Jayson Royce Melèndez, Jade Noelle Melèndez and Zoeli Isabella Melèndez; and her siblings, Leonilda Gelabert Cintrón, Maria Dolores Gelabert Cintrón, Hilda Gelabert Berrrocales, Ramon Pascual Gelabert Cintrón, Leovigirdo Gelabert Cintrón and Leonardo Gelabert Cintrón. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home (8 Spring St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (420 High St, Dedham, MA 02026). A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary' Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Juanita's memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
