Kathleen touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Kathleen’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Florindo Francis DeRoma of Hyde Park; and her parents, Jack Farrell and Patricia Farrell. She is survived by: her son Christopher Michael DeRoma of Naples, FLA.; her grandson Charles X. DeRoma of Naples; and her siblings, Patricia Shields of Weymouth, Timothy Farrell of Wall Township, NJ, Mary Hickey of Norton and Lisa O'Brien of West Roxbury. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa of Avila Church (2078 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
