It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary J. Zahar (Hyde Park, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Salim J. Zahar; her son Joseph H. Zahar; and her grandchild Thomas S. Zahar. She is survived by: her children, Lorrice M. Burke (Paul) of Sandown, NH and Thomas G. Zahar (Annette) of Lakeville; her siblings, Josephine Hallow of Westwood and Jean Hadayia of Dedham; her grandchildren, Christopher Zahar, Laurice Nickiloulias, Melissa Cote and Matthew Cote; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Brady, Raelyn, Preston, Brennan and Bryson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home (22 Oak St, Hyde Park, MA 02136). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lebanon Church (61 Rockwood St, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130). A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the Gethsemane Cemetery.
