He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Arthur J. Grimes, Jr. and Mary C. Grimes (Tozer); and his brother Stephen M. Grimes. He is survived by: his son Sean C. Grimes of Westford; his siblings, Sheila M. Bodwell (Bob), Arthur James Grimes, III of Ipswich and David M. Grimes (Sharon) of Ipswich; and his former wife Jacqueline Grimes of Westford. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
