She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie Cynkus and William Cynkus; and her sister Louise Cynkus. She is survived by: her husband Dixon Leslie; her stepsons, Jason Leslie (Kim) and David Leslie (Julie); her daughter Chelsea McGee; her grandchildren, Owen and Indigo; and her brother-in-law Frank Vidmar.
Reflecting her lifelong love of animals and their welfare, the family invites donations in Denise's memory to: the Ipswich Humane Group P.O. Box 873 Ipswich, MA 01938.
