She was predeceased by : her husband Paul C. Short; her parents, Abram Ames and Arlene D. Ames (McKenzie); and her sister Joan McKenzie. She is survived by : her children, David P. Short of Rowley, Dianne P. Short of Rowley and Linda E. Seel (Bruce) of Barre, VT; her grandchildren, Eric D. Seel (Tess) of Williston, VT and Hillary Seel (Matt Renaud) of Hardwick, VT; her great grandchild Ruby Jean Renaud; her grandson Htun Sein of Jericho, VT; and her cousin Russell "Jim" Tarason of South Berwick, Maine.. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Rowley Grange, 29 Central Street, Rowley, MA 01969.
