With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Badenhausen Danforth of Ipswich, Massachusetts, born in Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on October 9, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her former husband Robert M. McGarty; her son Matthew; her spouse Haines Hooker Danforth; her sister Peggy Badenhausen (Thomas Kelly) of Ipswich; her children, Michael McGarty (Denessa McGarty) of Ipswich, Catherine McGarty (James Der Derian) of Sydney, Australia and Louisa McGarty (Bryan Jackson) of Niwot, Colorado; her granddaughters, Marguerite White, Elizabeth McGarty and Anne McGarty; and her stepchildren, Randi Danforth, Thaddeus Danforth, Katrina Danforth, Christopher Danforth and Lisa Danforth. She is also survived by granddaughters.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private memorial gathering will be held for immediate family.
