James Ambrose Moon Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ambrose Moon Jr. of Ipswich, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Moon, Sr. and Marie Moon (Gallant); and his close friend Donna Marie Nutile. He is survived by: his children, Michele Moon (Mark Lisee) of Hollis, NH, Julie Kenney (Sean) of Northborough, MA and James P. Moon (Beth) of Dresden, ME.; his grandchildren, Allison Kenney, Jamie Moon and Eliana Moon; and his siblings, Nancy LaFountain, Linda Huston and Ronald Moon.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First Church (1 Meetinghouse Green, Ipswich, MA 01938). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Cowles Memorial Cemetery (29 Town Farm Rd, Ipswich, MA 01938).
