With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James E. McGreevey of Ipswich, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on December 3, 2025 at the age of 60, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGreevey and Leona McGreevey. He is survived by: his wife Kathy McGreevey; his children, Kelly and Meaghan; his siblings' children, Shawn (Rachel McGreevey), Kayla (Brad Biondello), Danny (Becky George), Michael (Sarah McGreevey), Lindsey, Jackie, Stephanie and Matthew McGreevey; his daughter Meg; and his siblings, Debbie and Mike (Denise McGreevey).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
