He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Brand and Dora Brand; and his wife Susanne Louise Knight. He is survived by: his children, Virginia B. Morton (Kenneth) of Williston, Vermont and Kenneth R. Brand (Paula) of So; his grandchildren, Erin Morton Farr (Ashley) of Richmond, VT, Emily Morton Kane (Garrett) of Winooski, VT, Craig Brand (Hamilton) of So, Joshua Rice (Anna) of Lacey, WA and Amanda Rice (Jack Donahue) of Peabody, MA.; and his great grandchildren, Aislynn, Alexis, Annabelle, Adalie Farr, Trystin Rice and Noah Donahue.
