Betsey A. Edwards Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betsey A. Edwards of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, born in Santa Barbara, California, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Richard Edwards of Jamaica Plain; her children, Melissa Rathbone (Cesar Puello) of Brooklyn, NY and Jason Rathbone (Beth) of West Roxbury; her stepchildren, Beth Thyr (Hakan) of London, England, Jeffrey Edwards of Windsor, CT and Karen Cepeda (Ernesto) of Jacksonville, FL.; and her grandchildren, Jack Rathbone, Seviah Cepeda, Jayne Rathbone, Sam Thyr, Nina Thyr and Teddy Rathbone.
Betsey loved her work, and she reluctantly retired in 2020 at the outset of the Covid pandemic.
