It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger L. Towne of Jefferson, Massachusetts, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Gretchen DeBree; his parents, Donald Towne and Alice Towne; and his brother Jeffrey Towne. He is survived by: his wife Susan Landess Towne of Jefferson, MA; his son Gordon Towne (Olivia Kalmanson) of Denver, CO; his sister Deborah Schofield (Pat Bedker) of Wichita; his pets, Ariel and Cheyenne; and his close friends, Katerina, Ariel and Cheyenne.
During the pandemic Roger volunteered every day, 7 days a week for 6 months to help care for the animals there.
