It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jo-An L. Horan of Kingston, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ebba Messinger (Eklund) and Abner Messinger; her spouses, Sharon Chief of Police and Albert R. Horan; and her grandson Nicholas.

She is survived by : her children, Roy (Karen), Kenneth (Karen), Lois and Elizabeth (Theodore Joubert); and her grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsey, Kenneth, Andrew, Jonathan, Sarah, Hannah, Valerie, Michael and Amanda.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home (55 N Main St, Mansfield, MA 02048). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
