He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Hanson (Hinckley); his parents, Elwin Lane and Ellen K. Hanson (Alger); and his brothers, John Hanson and David Hanson.
He is survived by: his brother Raymond Hanson (Carol); his nieces and nephews, Paula Markell (Edwin), Fred Hanson (Jong), Cheryl Kirkland (Paul), Pamela Beshore, Julie Deminico (Eric), Michelle Taylor (Rick), Kerrie Perkins (Matt), Anne Hanson, Jeff Hanson (Ashley) and Kristen Hanson; his sister-in-law Dianne Hanson; and his close friends, Janet Smith of Raynham and Lester Garnier of Lakeville.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Ashley Funeral Home (35 Oak St, Middleborough, MA 02346). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Drolette Funeral Services, Inc. Dba Ashley Funeral Home (35 Oak St, Middleborough, MA 02346). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at the Nemasket Hill Cemetery (515 Plymouth St, Middleborough, MA 02346).
