With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Joseph Dolan of Lancaster, Massachusetts, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Dolan, Sr. and Mildred Dolan (Condren); and his granddaughter Claire Elisabeth Dolan. He is survived by: his son John Ryan Dolan (Sondra Hardy); his wife Betty (Brobeck); and his siblings, Geraldine McPeek of Flemington and Richard Dolan (Teresa) of Matawan.
