John E. Naughton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Naughton of Lancaster, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 8, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John E. is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John E.'s spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Martha Naughton (Ayers); his siblings, Mary Manguso (Bill) and Richard Ferrari; and his parents, Edward Naughton and Clara Ferrari (Seymour). He was also cherished by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McNally & Watson Funeral Home (304 Church St, Clinton, MA 01510). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (80 Union St, Clinton, MA 01510). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John's Cemetery. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
