David J. Chapman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David J. Chapman of Lanesborough, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Chapman and Mary E. "Mae" Fitzgerald Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Montani; his children, David of Lee and Christine Janas (Matt) of Warwick, RI; his grandson Matthew David; his sister Marilyn Sbrollini (Peter) of Waverly, GA; and his nephews, Jay (Wendy) of Pleasant Valley, NY and Chris (Wen) of Brooklyn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) or The American Heart Association (AHA) in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
