Jane Gable Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 83, Jane Gable of Lanesborough, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Mara and Margaret Callahan Mara; her granddaughter Lauren Anderson; and her siblings, Bill Mara and Jackie O'Gara.
She is survived by: her husband Clark H. Gable; her children, Clark Gable (Cheryl), John Gable (Carrie) and Karen Anderson (Jerome "Jay"); her grandchildren, Jenna, Brittany, Nicole, Danielle, Collin and Shea; her siblings, Berine Mara and Margaret Harris; and her siblings-in-law, Elena Mara and Bob Gable. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dwyer Funeral Home (776 North St, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane's memory can be made to the Berkshire County Jimmy Fund in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
