He was predeceased by: his wife Therese BouMitri. He is survived by: his children, Andre BouMitri and Anabelle Owaida; his son-in-law Robert Owaida; his granddaughters, Grace, Maya and Jackie Owaida; and his sister Elham Boukhaled. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Anthony's Maronite Church.
