Carmelo Motta Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmelo Motta of Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Placido and Maria Motta (Nicotra); his aunt Rachela LoFaro (Nicotra); and his grandmother Maria Nicotra (Toscano). He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Motta of New York, NY and Stefania Nugteren (Motta) of Hebron, ME; his siblings, Anna Maria Motta of Plaistow, NH, Rosetta Motta of Methuen, MA and Rosario Motta of Andover, MA.; and his uncle Luigi Nicotra of Pelham, NH. He is also survived by two grandchildren, six nieces and nephews.
