She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Harty and Marilyn Harty; and her siblings, David Harty and Debra Harty. She is survived by : her sister Dianne Houde; her close friend Ralph "Butch" Richards; her children, Jennifer Deschamp (Jake Barchard), Barbara Deschamp, Andrea Deschamp, Dennis Deschamp (Ashley English) and Kelly Leonard (Patrick Leonard); her grandchildren, Evan (Mashayla), Zachery, Violet, Joel, Ava, Lexi and Cash; and her great grandchild Luca.

During the holidays she always made donations- even if it was her last penny.
