She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoine Guevin and Delima Guevin; her friends, Eileen Hallisey and Mary Spracklin; her husband Robert Burgess Sr.; her son Robert Burgess Jr.; her daughter-in-law Donna Burgess; and her siblings, Claire Hughes, Roland Guevin, Lillian Guevin and Robert Guevin.
She is survived by: her friend Agnes Harkness; her children, Cheryl Burgess, Scott Burgess, John Burgess of Lawrence and Stephen Burgess (Elizabeth) of Londonderry, NH; and her grandchildren, James, Lilianna and Robert. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home (144 Salem St, Malden, MA 02148). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Dale Cemetery (150 Forest St, Malden, MA 02148).
