With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elvira M. (Alvarez) Vega of Lawrence, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Felippe Alvarez and Felina Alvarez (Cabrera); and her husband Justo Emilio Vega. She is survived by: her children, Rita Vega (Susan Vachon) of Atkinson, NH and Emilio Vega (Ivis Rodriguez) of Seabring, FL; her sister Idilia "Lilia" Alvarez-Cabrera of Havana, Cuba.; and her grandson Alejandro Vega of Lowell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
