With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan M. (Peters) Coppola (Lawrence, Massachusetts), born in Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 15, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peters and Irma Peters (Greene); her husband Charles J. Coppola; her son David Coppola; and her sister Barbara Blackburn.
She is survived by: her sibling JulieAnn DiGloria; her daughter Cynthia M. (John Morgan) of Bradford; her siblings, Mary Milone, Gloria Alaimo, Frances Mailhot, Donna Gioia, Bernadette Kerins and John Peters; her grandson Ryan D. Birch; and her stepgranddaughter Kelsey Morgan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
