It is with sadness that the passing of Lorraine E Herman of Lawrence, Massachusetts is shared. Lorraine, born on April 2, 1940 in Reading, Massachusetts, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Poore and Rose Poore (DeRoche); her husband George A. Herman; and her siblings, George DeRoche, Raymond DeRoche, Dorothy LaFave, Janet Carroll and Gloria Hovey.
She is survived by: her children, George Herman (Donna) of Derry, NH, David Herman (Sandy) of Pepperell, Michael Herman of Lawrence, Lori Smith (Paul) of Chester, NH and Timothy Herman (ShannonMarie) of Lawrence. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Methuen Family Funeral Home (233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
