He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Persis-Lawson and Evelyn Persis-Lawson; his wife Marjorie Ann Robichaud (Matatall); and his siblings, Warren Robichaud, Robert Robichaud, John Robichaud, Ernest Robichaud, Jr. and Norma Lebel.

He is survived by: his children, Richard A. Robichaud, Jr. (Kazia) of Salisbury, Darlene L. Garneau (Lee) of Haverhill, Donna M. Zappala (John) of Methuen and Denise M. Carver (Paul) of Bradford; his grandchildren, Victoria Robichaud, Meaghan Robichaud, Dr. Jeremy Garneau (Anthony), Matthew Garneau, Sherri McComish (Dean), John Zappala, III (Ashley), Jillian Carver (Tony) and Chelsea Carver (Blake); his great grandchildren, Isabella Betances, Jaxson Betances, Emma Marjorie Zappala and John David Zappala; his siblings, Lorraine Ciardello of Salem, NH, Shirley Barros of Bedford, NH and Sandra Peront (Peter) of Hampstead, NH; and his caregiver Kim. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to the Greater Lawrence Community Action Council, 305 Essex Street, Lawrence, MA 01840.
