He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Furgal, Sr. and Kathryn Furgal (Pekala); his wife Audie Jo (Scofield); his brother John; his brother-in-law Chester Bogacz; and his nephew Andrew Scofield.
He is survived by: his daughter Tobey Ann Simone (Mike) of Lee; his sister Mary Bogacz of Newington, CT; his granddaughters, Lena, Lydia, Jenna and Ella; his siblings-in-law, Clint Scofield (JoAnn) of McKinney, TX, John Scofield (Tina) of White Plains, NY and Shirley Furgal of Springfield; and his sibling's children, Stephanie Bruno (Steve), Amy Dumais (Dave), Melanie Henry (Matt), Stephen (Jessica) and Brad Scofield (Kendra). He is also survived by 6 grand nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (140 Main St, Lee, MA 01238).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's School in Lee, or the Lee Youth Association, in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA.
